When I say I am a Baptist, I mean I am an Independent Fundamental Baptist as opposed to the Southern Baptist Convention or the American Baptist Association or the American General Baptists etc.
I wanted to offer a reason as to why I am a Baptist and what makes them distinct from other denominations.
History shows that there have always been Churches that were never part of the Roman Catholic Church. Baptists are descended from these Churches.
